Course Agenda and Organization Introduction

If you’re looking to start your blockchain journey, this curated 13 hours community-run course aims to help Web 3.0 Builders and Web 3.0 enthusiasts have a holistic approach to get you started.
Week 1: Web 3.0 Fundamentals and Infrastructure
In the first week, you’ll learn about the fundamentals of Web 3.0, learning about blockchain technology, and Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs). You will also learn about the architecture of blockchain networks, covering Layer 0 and Layer 1 in one session, followed by Layer 2 and Layer 3 in the next.
Week 2: DeFi, dApps, and the New Financial Ecosystem
Week 2 will see you delving into the world of Decentralized Finance (DeFi), including Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) and wallets. We’ll then bring your attention to Decentralized Applications (dApps) — starting with GameFi, NFTs, and the Metaverse, and moving onto SocialFi and Decentralized Identity (DID).
Week 3: DAOs, Security, and Privacy
In the third week will introduce Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), focusing on community governance and the tools used to manage these organizations. We’ll also take a deep dive into Data Security and Privacy in the blockchain space, discussing smart contract auditing and cross-chain security, as well as on-chain data analytics.
Week 4: Legal Compliance and Market Entry
In Week 4, you’ll learn about the Legal and Regulatory aspects of the Web3 space, including understanding compliance, licensing, and social responsibility. Together, we’ll also explore the Funding in Web 3.0, discussing tokenomics, incubators, funding strategies, and exchange market and end the week off about Go-To-Market, including growth and marketing strategies for launching projects in the blockchain space, as well as discussing future trends.
Week 5: Practical Workshop — Starting Your First Web 3.0 Project
In the final week, you’ll put theory into practice. You will be guided through starting your first Web 3.0 project from scratch, offering hands-on experience with the concepts and tools explored throughout the course. This practical workshop will provide a solid foundation to bring your own ideas to life in the Web 3.0 space.
